Unique presentation of jazz standards by Miriam Bayle and her great band. Miriam Bayle is a female jazz singer from Slovakia, based in Prague who has blossomed to a singer of professional qualities. You will find jazz standards, balads, latin jazz and swing in her concert collection. Her voice range and pitch can very well handle soft, gentler as well as raw presentation. However, her domain is considered to be the rarely heard talent of scat improvization which she uses to enrich her compositions. Her voice is quite phenomenal. She uses its darkness with maximum emotion and in an uncompromising swing style.

The band shortly settled in its current line-up where next to Tomáš on drums, you can hear Marcel Bárta on sax, pianist Vítek Křišťan, and Tomáš Liška on doublebass. The quartet’s music is fresh, modern jazz, respecting its role models from jazz history, such as Miles Davis or Wayne Shorter, yet it is communicative and open to modern trends of contemporary music.
